Accessibility Camp DC is an informal conference on Web Accessibility where computer professionals and people who use Adaptive Technology gather to educate each other about the issues around internet access for all. It will consist of a series of presentations and discussions held on the second floor of the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library on October 10th from 10am to 5pm. All who are interested in Web Accessibility are welcome, however please be aware that many of the presentations will be aimed at a technically-oriented audience. We expect between 100 and 150 people and about 20 presentations in 4 spaces, the second floor East and West lobbies, the Adaptive Services Division, Room 215, and their adjacent learning lab. The presentations will start at the top of each hour, at 11am, 12, 2, 3, and 4pm.

Some presentation topics will include:

· Practical Ways to Make Your Website Accessible
· Accessible PDF's
· Making Flash Accessible
· what is WAI-ARIA - (Web Accessibility Initiative - Accessible Rich Internet Applications)
· Accessible Video and Transcription
· Panel Discussion on “Issues Affecting Individuals with Disabilities on the Web”
· Captioning

The agenda is as follows:

10:00am -- introductions and scheduling of concurrent presentations
11:00am -- first presentations
12:00noon - second presentations
1:00pm -- lunch
2:00pm -- third presentations
3:00pm -- fourth presentations
4:00pm -- fifth presentations
5:00pm -- clean-up
