Funded Program for Persons with Disabilities to Acquire Assistive Technology
The Assistive Technology Financing Loan Program offered through
the Assistive Technology Program for the District of Columbia is a low-interest

communication devices, computers, specialized software, home modifications and
more. Persons with disabilities and their family members, guardians or advocates
living in the District of Columbia can apply to purchase assistive technology
that will allow them to live and function independently at home, school, work
or in the community. Individual loan amounts can range between $500 to $10,000
with terms of 6 months to 5 years and a low 4% interest rate.
