July 19, 2014 Describe/Caption-athon and Discussion on Accessibility and the Maker Movement

The Describe/Caption-athon ran on July 19, 2014 from 10 a.m. to  4 p.m. in the 
Adaptive Services Division, room 215, Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library and offered participants the opportunity to add audio description and captioning to YouTube videos.  We used the YouDescribe software http://youdescribe.ski.org created by Josh Miele at Smith Kettlewell, and the YouTube captioning tool, and Amara for captioning.
